Transfer Poll Notifications

APPENDIX D - POLL notifications flow process on TRANSFER request

The acquiring registrar sends a transfer request for a domain that is not locked, and has a valid authorization code.

If the request is valid, the acquiring registrar receives a PENDING response code 1001, and the current managing registrar receives a POLL notification code 3189 that a transfer request has been submitted.

The request waits in queue for a specified period of time to allow the managing registrar to respond - objection or approval.

If the managing registrar objects, the acquiring registrar will be notified by POLL notification code 3078.

If the request is rejected, the acquiring registrar will receive a notification through POLL notification code 3082.

The managing registrar will also be notified through POLL code 3087.

When the request is approved, the acquiring registrar will receive a notification through POLL code 1000.

The former managing registrar will also be notified through POLL with code 3085 or 3086.
